My journey to becoming a therapist was not a linear process but it was a journey that brought me through steep learning curves and depths of compassion and growth. I have over 8 years of experience as a doula which has cultivated an understanding of the transformative power of support and nurturing care during life’s pivotal moments. I am driven by a genuine curiosity in others and desire to witness growth and healing. I am dedicated to guiding individuals towards a path of empowerment and self-discovery. I strive to instil a sense of hope, connection, and creating an environment that feels safe where individuals can flourish and thrive.

I am currently completing my master’s in counselling psychology at Trinity Western University. Prior to pursuing my Mater’s, I worked as a Doula and Birth Educator. My area of passion lies within the perinatal period in women and beyond. This includes infertility, loss, pregnancy, birth trauma and processing, post-partum mood disorders, role changes, family dynamics and the many other parts of life that are affected in this period. With that said, I am not limited in who I work with, and I enjoy working with all people, no matter what they are carrying in.

I work from a person centred, feminist, and systemic lens while being trauma informed. This means that I am dedicated to understanding who you are in the room, in your family and community, and what events and experiences have shaped you. I work from a position that gives you the autonomy over your decisions because you are the expert in your own life while supporting and holding space for you in the process.

I believe that therapy is both the scariest and most rewarding journey someone can embark on, and I recognize the significance of creating a safe and validating space for healing. My commitment lies in walking alongside individuals as they uncover the reservoirs of strength within themselves, navigating the complexities of their experiences with unwavering support and empathy.
